| What type of barrel would be good to improve accuracy for an echo1 m4 tactical, i would like for it to be somewhat cheap and easy to install. | |

| Well, I have a M4A1 2007, and I can give you pics on how to take it apart, and take out the inner barrel, I have done that to unjam, all you have to do is take out the pins, open it up, pull out the inner barrel, take apart the hopup. and put it on the new one, slide the new barrell in and then you are done!
Maybe I can upload some pictures

| Systema is the best, but also the most expensive
A madbull would work good

| In my experience, DB Customs 6.01mm barrels have been more accurate, given a higher FPS boost, and have better craftsmanship than Systemas, so they are worth considering as well. | |

| Basically, when you disassemble the gun: (Im going to tell you exactly how I do it with my CA M15A4, they should be similar)
Take out the pins holding together the upper and lower reciever, and it should bend in half. Inside the upper reciever, check to see if there are any screws holding the barrel/hopup unit in place, and if so remove those things and pull the barrel out.
Then, once the barrel is out of the gun, remove the C shaped piece of plastic that locks the hopup unit into place on the barrel. Once you do that, the barrel should be able to come out of the chamber/bucking. Then slip in the new one (can be a little tricky to get the hopup bucking set in perfectly, you'll get it) and reverse the process.
Obviously there are probably better descriptions on the web, this is just a quick shortened "how to". Check around for one with pictures, It'd be much easier to describe the process that way.
First timer should have no problem doing this in about ten to fifteen minutes.

| Take the pins out, seperate the upper and lower receivers, and take the hop-up assembly/barrel out of the upper receiver. Then, take off the plastic retaining clip holding the barrel, and hop-up assembly together. Take out the barrel, with the hop-up bucking on, and swap the bucking onto the new barrel. Then, reinstall everything, ensuring the hop-up nub is properly positioned. If that is too much work, take it to a shop. Look here for visual guidance: http://www.mechbox.com/site/m4/m16-upgrades/m733-disassembly-video.html | |

| It is a very simple process really, here are the steps:
Step 1: Extract the inner barrel and hop up unit from your replica. There are a ton of online guides you can use that are specific to your gun model.
Step 2: Disassemble your hop up unit, and take off the unit, sleeve and brass ring. Again, there are many model specific guides at Airsoft Retreat, Arnies Airsoft and others.
Step 3: Prepare your new TB barrel and Hop up unit by using a lint free cloth and clean the factory gunk out of your barrel using the cloth and the cleaning rod that should have come with your airsoft gun. If your gun has <5000 rounds in it, it would be best to wash your hop up rubber in soapy water also.
Step 4: Reassemble the hop up unit, slide the sleeve back on to the barrel after sliding the brass ring onto the barrel. Put the hop up unit on the barrel making sure it is correctly positioned on the rubber, put on the barrel clip and your done, just reassemble your whole gun after and your ready to go.
Notes:
-When putting the hop up sleeve back on the barrel make sure that the notch in the sleeve is lined up with the notch in the barrel.
-Prometheus has some very good Tightbore barrels, and like Booligan said, DBC has some excellent barrels also.
-I recommend that while you are spending money on a barrel, to also get a new hop up rubber and nub. Prometheus and Firefly are good in my book. If you want some extra improvement to your hop up, get an element H-nub. You can get them at EhobbyAsia for <5$

It's even easier. You only need to remove the front pin, and the whole upper receiver slides off, giving you access to the inner barrel. Takes about 5 minutes to do it all on the G3-SG1.

| Yes it is simple also. Use mechbox's guide to dissasembling a TM G36C.
Its mostly the same on every model, just different hop ups and different take downs may take more time.

| Meh, I have seen some people hate them, and some people swear by them. Maybe this "Version 2" is improved. But overall it would be best to get a Prometheus Barrel, and a Prometheus hop up rubber. | |

| accualy my friend has a P90, custom, it has a extended barrell, so it needs a silencer on it, but it uses a rifled extended barrell. I dont know how it works, but he opened it up, and I can tell u now that it is rifled. besides that get a Systema Tightbore.

| ^Sounds like a TK twist barrel. They work well, as long as you're shooting under 330ish fps. Faster than that, and they lose the advantage of the air cushion provided by the rifling (Which for the record doesn't actually spin the bb, as that would negate hop-up effect) | |
