| Hey guys, well right now im thinking of buying a new gun. So far, ive been looking at the MP5 RAS. If anyone that owns this AEG, please post your opinions and personal expierence with this gun. My questions are for this type of AEG: Which one is better? MP5A5 (Retractable stock) or MP5A4 (Full Stock)? Can it still run on a 8.4V battery with the MP5A5 and A4?? Which one better quality? Echo 1 or JG? Thank you very much! http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2953 | |

| I'd go Echo 1. My friend has it and it is a beast.
The full stock is better because you can use large batteries which have more MAH, so they will run longer. The retractable stock's battery goes in a grip mounted to the RIS system, thus you will not be able to get a larger battery inside the grip than the standard one.

| are you open to suggestions for other brands?
If you are willing to spend about 50 bucks or so more, I would get a G&G plastic series. Tightbore barrel stock and the rof is like 1100 with a 9.6v.
from what I've heard, they totally blow any E1 gun out of the water.
The gearbox is better also, so it will last longer.

| real quick question. For the Echo 1 VA MP5A5 (retractable stock). Is it worth buying, and then buying a PEQ box for it? Plus is the stock solid? Because i once ordered an MP5 long ago, and a week later the stock became slipper (Wouldnt stay in one spot anymore) so i returned it. And i need some help finding a good website that sells this gun for a good price. Thank you! | |

| Two of my friends both have the full stock version. My friend Corey's has stock wobble, but Jeff's doesn't. The wobble can be fixed by tightening a screw. For some reason Corey's just came a little loose. Don't worry about this, because it can be easily fixed if your gun's stock ever loosens up. The collapsible will have quite a bit of stock wobble just because of how the MP5 is designed. (every airsoft mp5 has stock wobble for the collapsible version) I would get the full stock and I think a PEQ box would look kinda goofy on an MP5. Plus, the full stock feels more comfy imo. The full stock can fit in an 8.4 3300 mah battery just fine. (little tight though) if you live near California, you will receive items in 4 days. (i live in AZ) Airsoftgi (ASGI) is one of the best retailers and I have had no problems with them. They also test guns before they ship them out. (less likely to get a lemon) http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=139_24_200&osCsid=1e429328f9aa0eab730b4e050901313aKeep in mind, the full stock comes with a grip like this. http://www.shortyusa.com/cart/images/1338.jpg | |

| lol yea i guess full stock wins haha. I dont think this would matter much, but the grip that comes with it looks simple, but its worth getting one that comes with it than wasting money on another.
Also, Airsoft GI is out of stock, im still trying to find a website that has it in stock. Any other websites?

| NOOOOOOO NOT EVIKE!
Never buy from Evike. I've had heard sooooo many horror stories of people ordering guns and then never receiving them and other stuff like that. They are a very dishonest business and I will NEVER buy from them. I've also heard good things about them, but mostly bad things.

| no problem
If you find out where they are located, you might even be able to pick up the gun from their store. (though you are most likely not near them)
