| i think Booligan went over this in another thread, but if you want a good sniper rifle, stick with spring powered. I personally dont think its worth buying a $300 AEG with that is only semi automatic. | |

| So the best budget sniper is the JG BAR 10. And if that is what upgrades could you get say, under $100 with the extra money you would save. | |

| That was sorta hard to understand lol. Did you mean, "What upgrades could you get under $100 with the extra money you save?". The first "upgrade", I guess you could say, is the airbrake mod, it should raise the FPS by 100 or more. Or at least thats what I hear. And its free. I don't really know much about the internals, but I am guessing you should also get a TB. But like I said, I have had no hands on with this gun. | |

| Yeah that's what I meant RoboFURY. So, first the air break mod that makes it 500+ fps, then a TB for accuracy, and last maybe an upgraded spring. But, do you think it will need the spring if it is already 500+fps ,and how much would the fps be with all the upgrades including the spring with .20 BBs. Also, if the scope is bad you can always buy a different one. Also, how much is a metal spring guide for the BAR 10?

But anyways the scope on it I think is decent I didn't like the one I used because it wasn't zeroed but zeroing a scope isn't that hard. It does have 3-9x zoom though so it can be used for reconnaissance very well. | |

| I can't find a metal spring guide for the BAR 10 could you guys give me a link? Also, with all those upgrades mentioned (spring,TB,spring guide, airbrake mod) do you think it will be accurate at 250`. | |

| Thanks and I live in Lindenhurst NY. Also, what spring would be best the SP 170 or 190 for getting to 550+fps with .20s and all the other upgrades. Also, with all those upgrades will it be able to be accurate at 250`. | |

| Well I doubt you would be able to pull a 190 especially in prone. If your doing the airbrake then I really don't see reason to get a new spring. | |

| I guess ,but do you think that the air brake alone will reach 550fps ,or do you think that the sp170 spring will be easier to pull and will push it to 550fps. | |

| Ok, so should I be able to pull a sp150? Also, what fps would the gun get with the sp150,metal spring guide, air brake mod, and tight bore(6.01)? Also, should the original trigger assembly stand up to the sp150 or is it too much for it? | |

| I don't know I have never tried to pull and sp150 but if you do the air brake mod don't get a new spring. | |

| I was searching the air brake mod on youtube and I found this that shows it in a G spec version not working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAeIjju-5MU&hl=enAlso, even if the air brake mod gives you 520fps I would still like 550fps so what spring would slightly increase the fps. Maybe the sp150?

| Sorry for double posting ,but how much fps does the air brake mod give alone, and what spring would be needed to push it over 550fps assuming that the air brake mod does not? | |
