| I'm having a little problem, its not really the stock, but its like the metal bar that holds it. Near the main body of the gun, and the stock, it seems to be getting loose. Im not sure how, but i really want to fix it, cuz it kind jiggles around when i rest it against my shoulder when im ready to fire. Please give your tips and solutions on how to fix this, thank you very much! I think the picture below should give you an idea on how it looks. Also i can seem to move it up and down, so im really worried about what else its going to do... | |

| Take off the cap at the end of the stock tube. It will probably have an allen head screw holding it in. You then can look into the stock buffer tube, and should see a screw. Tighten this screw. It will bring the buffer tube back onto the body.
If you have any questions, I'll take pics on one of mine.

| hmmm well i will have to do this with my dad. I see the allen head screw, i got that part down. But if its not to much trouble, can you take pictures of the inside of the stock tube. I want to see the screw that i have to tighten, so i wont break any internals. I really do appreciate your help booligan!!!
P.S.: Gotta admire my sloppy cursive LOL

| Once you open it, you'll see the screw. There's only one in there, lol... It should be a phillips head screw, and it's right in the center.
If you still need help after opening it, I'll take pics tomorrow.
It really should only take about 2 minutes to set it up, tops. Easy stuff.
Good luck! | |

| Very simple, this happened to my Echo 1 M4. You see the stock. Well I know you do. There is a little "button" that goes down whenever you squeeze the lever to adjust the stock. You pull on that, so it will go farther than regular, and push back to take the push it all the way back, as if you are puting it in the 6th position\. but go farther. This may take a few trys
Step 2. try prying open, or some sort of screw on the bar. (without a stock its just a bar) if thats how it works. once that cap is removed, you will see a loose screw inside it. and the other end is on the other side of the bar. try to line it up, and screw it into the body of the System, for more questions just say them, sorry that i cant explain more thoroughly but I got to go

| Just saying.... It has happened before. To mine, I cant post pics though. but I believe that it is a similar, if not exactly the same process. | |

| I was just wondering. If Booligan sent you a PM or if you used my advice, if you used mine, I want to know how you got the cap off, since someone told me that you are not supposed to pry it off. Was there a screw or something on yours? | |

| ^I didn't need to send him a PM, I put the exact procedure right in this thread.
There's nothing to pry off, just take out the allen head screw like I said and take off the end of the buffer tube.

| Hey this happened to me and I pulled my stock back and it actually fell off and separated from the gun.
I can see the screw inside the tube ,but I don't see any screw on the back to open it to get to the screw. How do you get the back open?

| Sorry to be a little impatient ,but I'm leaving tonight for a trip to my grandparents house in VA ,and I wanted to bring my M4 to shoot and I want it to have a stock. How do you get the back of the tube open?
And even though it's off topic, today is my birthday(15).

| On the end cap, on the models I've encountered, there's a small "allen" screw located just under the cap. I unscrewed that, then got a huge screwdriver and tightened the inner screw.
If there's not one there (no screw I mean), I can only suggest trying to pry it off. I'm not sure if you're talking about this exact same model, but my thinking is that either the end cap is screwed in place, or it's glued.

| I have an Echo 1 M4 and I'm still confused, how do you get to the screw, isn't the space under the back cap inside the stock itself. | |

| Never mind! I figured it out. I pulled instead of pushed of the level to adjust it and it came out.
But ironically I don't have the right sized allen wrench, its the only one missing from my set ... I wonder why?

| EDIT: Ah, I was mid post when I saw you had figured it out. It is a very small allen key, I don't have the exact measurement on that one. | |

| The one I'm missing is a 3/32 the one below it is just small and the one above it is just too big so I think that is it.
I'm going to my grandparents tomorrow so I hope they have one that I could use.
A side bonus to this is if you doing CQB or something that may require a small gun you can take of the stock(makes it 25"). Also, this makes putting in a crane stock in place of the original one in smoother.
