| My friend has an Echo 1 G36C and wants to upgrade its motor for an improved ROF.
Do you guys know any good brands and types of motors for it? Also, do you have other suggestions for a better ROF besides the battery and weaker spring?

this thread should answer some of your questions, or give you an idea of what you may need. When making a link to that topic you "could" make it open in a different window. It would make it easier to come back to this page and make a reply. Just my opinion. Also I would recommend keeping the same motor. It would be cheaper to just use a weaker spring, a good motor can cost upwards of $40 (budget motor). I believe Echo1 uses a M110 in their AEGs so it would be cost effective to just use a M90 or M100. It should add a little more rof at a much better price. Also keep in mind when upgrading to a faster motor it may be needed to use a different set of gears. (not in all cases)

| Get a G&P motor if you're going to get a motor and also get systema high speed gears. You could get a MOFSET and use a stronger battery. | |

| What exactly is a MOFSET and what does it do? | |

| A MOSFET is an electric circuit that isolates the electricity between the motor and the battery, pretty much saving your trigger contacts forever and giving you a better ROF. | |

| Alright so I should tell my friend to get 1.) a MOSFET 2.)M90 spring 3.)9.6volt battery 4.)Maybe speed gears 5.)speed motor
I think that should do it ,but tell me if you have any more suggestions.

| IMO, don't worry about the HS gears, your stock gears are fine. Also for batteries I reccomend elite or intellect batteries. G&P HS motors are some great budget motors. | |
