| TM. Got a sweetheart of a deal.
Gun + 2 highcaps, 1 low cap, battery, and scope rail all for $100. Still shoots 290 FPS and about 22 RPS stock on a large 8.4v.
It's a great gun, only plagued by creakiness in the grip and a super shiny finish. A little metal could go a long way with it. I want to get the JP to compare and maybe get some parts off of it.

| ^Nope, you have to mod it slightly to fit STANAG mags, but it's not hard. It is wicked creaky though, plastic on plastic rubbing = haunted house door sound effect machine, lol... It's tolerable though, and can be improved by giving it a good screw tightening after games/storage. Anywho, decided it needed a side rail: Mounted through the body, TONS of spare room inside for stuff like this. This is seriously the easiest gun to mod, and gives very satisfying results with small changes. Light is a 9 LED cheapo one that I mounted with a scope ring. Easily turned on and off with the thumb of my non support hand. This will be my new night op gun, as it's quiet, great at middle ranges where night ops are fought at, shoots low enough to be perfectly safe, plus I can jerry rig my NVG to the rail easily (which will be changing once I buy a G36C rail). Dremel arrives next week, STANAG mags will fit soon after. | |

| I like what you did do to your famas, I personally, dont like the famas. It looks very good, but with plain iron sights, it is very hard for me to aim. I also dont like the creaking noises, even though it is solid, it doesnt sound like a solid gun. I am still waiting for G&G to make the one savior metal famas | |

| JP actually made a clone one with a partially metal receiver, but you can't have too much metal or it would be very unrealistic, as the real FAMAS is mostly polymer.
I need to get one to check compatibility.

| Nice job. The suppressor and launcher just round it out so well. Does it help balance the weight with the mag and battery in the back? I personally always liked the design scheme of the FAMAS, but really just all bullpups in general. However, I always liked the Type 97B more, sans the AK flashider. Its like the CQB lovechild of a FAMAS and a L85. Most of my friends hate it, but hey you like what you like. | |

The mag and gearbox are in the back, but the large battery is actually up front, under the handguard. It's normally a good bit backheavy, but the launcher balances it out well. The silencer is pretty light, so it's noncontributory to the balance, just the looks and noise. Plus it looks awesome And yes, the RS Type 96 is hot as heck, but with a hot price to match. Not touching that until I either get promoted or get one for free, lol...
