| I don't really like FA-MASs. They look weird..... And as Stealthmaster said, they're French. | |

| A FAMAS is like an AUG, its an aquired taste. I hate AUG's, but there is something about a FAMAS that always wanted to make me shoot one. I am not expecting much from this model as far as performance. A full metal rifle for 170 makes me nervous as to how it runs. The good news is you can use all the extra money to mod the hell out of it, but in the end I'm not holding my breath until I see specs... | |

| im unsure of what they mean by "full metal." The RS FAMAS is mostly plastic, but im going to assume it'll have more metal than the TM, which is also assuming that the TM is not already "full metal". | |

| By full metal they mean every part thats metal on the real steal, will be metal.
TM's FAMAS is 90% plastic, like normal

| So then we can assume that there be more metal content, than the TM. further more making the TM a better choice. | |

| SWEET!!! I have actually been looking for a FAMAS. I have always liked the looks but the TM was just too expensive. I do agree though, 170$ for a full metal scares me a little. If anyone finds any detailed specs, or reviews please reply because i would be very interested in this gun.

| Wasnt it like the first TM gun?
245 is weak. I would project the hell out of that gun's internals.

| im not sure it could handle it. Dont forget that the tm used a relativley week motor, so high velocities are a NO NO, for the famas. Yes it was the first AEG. | |

| Still, you could make swaps of anything these days if you wanted to and knew what you are doing. I think it could handle it but I'm sure the longevity would dip a bit. It's all Japan's fault and their .98 J limit laws. Otherwise, the TM FAMAS would be free to be a beast. | |

| One draw back of the FA-MAS is that there are not many upgrade parts made for it. Thats why, even if I like them, I probably wouldn't buy one. | |

| I wouldnt buy a TM famas either. Its too ancient. You could switch out the gears, springs, and find a better battery which would probably hike you up to about 350-380 but its the motor thats the problem. You'd cut the life of it in half and I doubt you could find a replacement or even replace it easily at all. You can get those upgrades easy, but the motor leaves a big ? as to how long it will last. Lets hope this new version lives up to demand. | |

| The motor couldnt handle a bigger battery, youre practically in trouble the second you attach the 9.6 volt battery to the gun... | |

| ^^The TM FAMAS was designed to run off of a 7.2v. Actually, all TM guns can run off of a 7.2, if they are perfectly shimmed. So putting a 9.6v in a TM FAMAS, is like putting a 10.8 in your Galaxy MP5K-PDW. | |

| Those dates are not accurate. They are ship dates normally. If the gun ships on the 30th it may arrive at the store on the 15th of next month. Then on average it takes 3 days to prepare it for sales. | |
