Hey guys, if you havent heard, Echo 1 just released there "High Grade" MP5s. The MP5s have a metal upper receiver and a ABS lower receiver. And its said they got some improved internals. As well as the RIS version including a full package. Includes 2 hicap magazines, forgrip, and 2 mechboxes (For easy swap out if you want to send some harder bbs down range).

Just wondering, will this thing be able to take a large 9.6v in the MP5A4 buttstock and stick with it with no problems?

Are you wondering if this gun can fit a 9.6v or can it run on it reliably?

If you modify the stock, (just cut out some plastic on the bottom of the stock) it can fit an 8.4v 4200mah with ease. (or at least for the VA MP5 series)

I'm sure if you just chipped out some of the plastic, it would fit fine. As far as reliability, I'm sure it would be fine as long as you don't do long bursts.
