| OUCHIES!!!!! I'm going to be playing airsoft in about an hour, and there is a 450 fps sniper on the other team. I better take him out fast, or I'n gunna be in a world of hurt. literally. I'm just hoping I don't end up looking like the guy in the photo. | |

| I have an Echo 1 G36 on my team, but the other team has a better player with an Echo 1 MP-5. Last time I played against him, I DID look like the guy in the photo. (And now he has an upgraded motor . AND THERE IS THE SNIPER!!!!! | |

| It was outrageously simple. I got some Krylon "Fusion" (sticks to everything) colors: OD green, black, and a khaki-tan. All are ultra matte finish so my gun wont be shiny at all when I get done. I took off the scope so I could spray it separate from the gun. I taped off the exit hole on the barrel (you DONT want paint in there!), the range numbers and reference dot on the scope, the ejection port, and the ball end of the cocking lever. From there I sprayed the entire thing OD green as a base. All of it. While that was drying I got some oak leaves and some lengths of a common vine. The stems really make the finish look cool. I then just burst-sprayed over the vine (which has leaves) with the tan and then did the same with the edges of the oak leaves with the black. I messed up a couple of times, but the beauty of it is I can just go back and spray over it and you would never know looking at it. Then I used a non-glossy clear finish spray from a craft store that locked in the color, prevents scratches, and makes the finish smooth since spray paint will make your gun feel chalky and rough, not to mention it can rub off dry with handling. The whole thing took me like 30 mins. | |
