| It seems pricy but not really. The ww2 vintage corpman bag i got for $7 when I was 5 from an antquie shop, the m1 garand belt was geven to my dad, the woodland camo was also my dads from when he served in the navy, the blue real bullet proff vest was given to me by my uncle whos a cop: it was old equiment that the deparment was getting rid of. I have a ton of more gear but i dont have it up. | |

| The heavy loadout is hot, so I avoid using it unless it's cool out. The light loadout isn't too bad, as it breaths pretty well and has open sides.
And yes, it was damn hot outside when I took the pics, lol.

| Yep, EOTech replica 557 from Airsplat. It has a plastic hood and no trades, which kind of sucks, but it's brighter than my 551 replica. I painted it FDE and added an FN SCAR type ID sticker to the top. | |

| Do you have a link for the 557? I can only find the 551 and 2 on Airsplat. I was thinking about getting one for my SCAR. Is the "552" the same thing?
EDIT: Never mind. I read your review and put it together. Did you just tape it and use Krylon?

| Glad you were able to figure it out I've been telling him to rename it a 557 on the site, as it's not even close to a 552, but the name remains the same... I only painted the hood, and I did that by removing it from the body and painting it seperately. It was really easy to do. Here are some pics of it on my formerly owned SCAR: | |

| It's the JLS. I sold it because a team mate wanted it. I'm actually talking to him about getting it back now. After digging up those pics of it I remembered how much I liked that little gun. I'm buying it back and will do a full overhaul on the internals. EDIT: Updated my light loadout: 16 shells on my gear. Lots of ammo for the backup shotgun. I shoeglued on some velcro to attach the 4 shell holder: It's loose and floppy for now, but it keeps the gun in there: Got the shell holder from TAS, and it's a great piece of kit for any shotgunner. Holding 12 shells in individual loops, there's no rattle or mess, just pull out the shell you want. It is $8 with free shipping on their site, www.tacticalairsoftsupply.com. Plus it gave me real estate for a nametape. I also painted the vest and other pouches with dark brown and almond/black subtle stripes. I like it thusfar. Future plans are to replace the elastic side straps with something a little stiffer, as the current setup is a little too stretchy for me. In game use there will be a dump pouch on the left rear and an Alice canteen on the right rear. I like this setup because it is still light (much less than my CIRAS replica) but offers plenty of magazine and shell storage, and it great full range of motion. | |

| Looks real nice, what brand shotgun, and what range. It is really sad that the airsoft shotgun doesnt have to only be a close quarter weapon | |

| It's the UTG tri-shot M3 shorty. It gets about 85' effective range.
This will be my main loadout with my 500 FPS SRC 416 DMR as the primary, and the shotgun for when people get within my 100' MED, or when I need to clear a room to set up a counter-sniper position.
It works perfectly for my DM setup, because it holds 4 mags, which isn't that much, but I don't need much for my rifle, and it is still light and maneuverable enough for me to stay low profile and act as a proper DM.
And for the record, airsoft shotguns aren't just for short range.
Something like this, the UTG or TSD M3 is good out to about 85', which puts it as a shorter range gun, but with 3 BBs. A TSD or CSI M500 will shoot about 125' accurately with the right ammo, putting it as a good midrange gun. Lastly, something like the Echo 1/CAW M1014 is the long range model of choice. With a 6.01 tightbore barrel in mine and shooting KB .28s, I get 190'-200' effective range. This is with a shotgun mind you, lol... It's more of a pump action DMR.

| My UTG M3 does about that range too but you have to keep the spread in mind as well. That is, if you're aiming at pie tins like Konrad then good luck at 85' (probably one of the 3 will hit at like 70% of your shots) but the spread will actually help tag large human targets because of the increased area of the shot. I must admit it almost feels like cheating when two bb's miss but that last one clips a shoulder even though I was barely aiming haha. Anyway, I still feel the TSD/UTG multi-shot is meant more for closer ranges with 85' being a reach unless you're out of ammo or have modded it. Besides, landing all three bb's at like 50 feet has been way more satisfying for me since you really feel like you are doing what a shotgun is meant to do: do massive damage close up. Thats a good idea for carrying it though. What is that, just a radio/dump pouch? I might just steal that idea...
PS (to booligan): Do you know anything about the ACM 6mm gas M500? I know you have the 8mm one as I do, but I guess this one fires 5 shots at once and can hold a crap ton of ammo because the loading tube rotates into three different chambers...

Yep, it's the radio pouch that came with my CIRAS. Too big for my radio so it found a new use. I have the ACM 6mm as well, but I got it with broken pump bars. Once I get new ones I'll let you know how it shoots.

Its really a great PC, I would recommend it to anyone on a budget, or who just dont feel like dropping 200 on gear (us). As emokid pointed out that does not really look like 400, but you cant see 7 or 8 bills.

| Nice, why you are selling your M14?
I plan to get the SRC G36K Gen 2 and use a Prometheus barrel/bucking with an H nub. Then later one (around April) throw in a SP120 Guarder FTK.

Because I need money for a smaller weapon, I got a good deal on a VFC SCAR-L, so I am gonna buy that, but I need some cash first.
