I have the JG BAR10 with the scope and it is a very solid gun. I have never used a WELL L96 but I can tell you that the BAR10 is an excellent sniper rifle that you can;t go wrong with.

I also saw some pretty sick spring field spring snipers, and they were oly 120 at 450 fps
