| I am just going to say it. There is no point in upgrading an Echo 1. With all of the money you will have put into it, you could have bought a G&G m14 for $250. I say save for a new gun. | |

| Yes, but he already has it, so there is no point in not upgrading it.
I would get a tight boar barrel, and an M110 spring.

| well, since he already owns the gun, who not upgrade it? I mean theirs no point getting another gun. Unless he wants another one.
to add to the tightbore that Airsoftguy suggested, you could alos get a new motor, though dont get something too fancy, your gears may not be able to handle it.

| You also might want to get metal bushings and metal spring guide. | |

I believe it already has those, but I may be wrong. Get a tightbore for sure. IDK what else though

| Is it necessary? No upgrades are necessary, it just depends on what you want to imporve on your gun. Which btw, what would you like to improve? | |

| then a tightbore will be necessary. It probably the only thing you'll need to upgrade, to get the improvements you want. im not sure what size the barrel should be, or if the G&G has the same sized barrel as the TM, so ask a retailer before buying, just to make sure. http://trinityairsoft.com/p-212-barrels-tighbore-by-km-head.aspx | |

| Yep. It does all that. Its kind of like the buy one get one free of the airsoft upgrade world. Here is how it does that:
A bb inside a barrel, will bounce in the barrel: /\/\/\/\/\/\. Now, because a tight boar is much tighter, the BB does not have as much room to bounce, and will be more accurate. Now, if it is more accurate, you USUALLY have more range. Maybe not more maximum range, but you will be able to hit targets farther away, so you EFFECTIVE range will be greater.
It gives more FPS because the air seal is tighter, so the compressed air does not have as much room to escape around the BB. because the BB is now going faster, it could extend you maximum range.

| Yeah, think about those in a systema, who cares I wont buy one kit, back to the topic, I think that you might want to spend a larger amount of money, to replace the gear box, since the echo 1 gear box, (internal box, more like compartments) is easily broken or messed up, and is better if you get a whole new one, which will save you money for other stuff
but a tightbore is also a good idea
