| Meh. I don't think you need all those bells and whistles, but I guess it couldn't hurt. I use this one http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1224 and it's super simple and does its job perfectly without all those buttons and extra features. You get the large to mini connector adapter, but in addition you get an alligator clip one which I rig to my AEP batteries. I think I've seen it around the internets for as low as $22. | |

| My thought with that one is that it will probably have better quality, but i can't know for sure. | |

| It is good, some stores, only sell high quality guns (for example AEX) and everything there is expensive, the charger SecretWeapon listed is accually very good quality, I do not know about that one, but I hate how charging the battery takes like 2 hours. Some smart chargers, you can adjust how many mah per hour. The Systema quatro http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=480_94_101&products_id=3398automaticly sets up the settings for each battery, and it only takes 40 minutes to charge! But it is also very expensive, but it is accually worth it, because you dont have to mess around with a bunch of dials, and it charges really quickly. You also need it to charge the systema 12v battery. Heres the link for it http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=480_94_102&products_id=3172I know there is a 9.6 v with more MaH but I like the 12v better, I have 2 of those, so it fills up 2 spots, and the spare PSG1 takes up the other | |

| Those are both a little more $$$ that i am will to throw at a smart charger, i am thinking more like $40 or less. On the other hand they both look like very high quality smart chargers. | |

| Just get a more reliable smart charger. Find reviews on them, and get it. | |

QFT! I love that charger, charges extra fast, have had no problems with it. The auto cutoff feature is invaluable. | |

| The autocut off stops the charge when the battery is fully charged, correct? | |

| Yes, on the charger I have at least, when the battery is fully charged, the light turns from red to green. | |

| And does the charger stop charging at that point, and not just let you know that it is ready? | |

| It doesn't hurt anything. I have left mine on for a while even after it said it was charged and it works fine. | |

| On some Smart chargers, you can set the rate on how fast it charges at, if you charge it to fast with a smart charger, the people at AEX says that it doesnt get as full of a charge as it does when it goes slower | |
