| Yo, As some of you may know, I will be getting a new gun when summer starts. Two guns have recently caught my attention. The first is the G&G plastica and the second is the echo 1 G3. Now, I have heard excellent things about both of them and both of them look great. While I am a little hesitant about getting an M4 b/c everyone who I play with has one (i like to be different) I'm not going to count it out at all. Here is my style of play: I am about 6 feet, tall and scrawny, I am a xc runner so I dont mind running, I like being aggressive and leading the charge, but I also like being able to lay down and camp with an accurate gun. I am both extremities, I love plaiyng scout but I also love support. So, I obviousely want a gun with good accuracy, good internals, good externals, and all in all a reliable sturdy gun. So, which do you think is right for me based on the criteria I just mentioned? Thanks a bunch!! Scott | |

| I have not done much research about the Echo1 G3. However, G&G is usually considered to be the better brand. | |

| Is it just me or did we JUST have one of these topics?!?! Maybe it should have been locked instead of deleted eh? Well I will restate my self. They are both mid end guns. The G3 is a little less accurate because it doesn't have the TB that the plastica has. I would say that since you already have a plastica you should save up and get a full metal gun. No point in wasting money on the same gun just a different style in my opinion. My reccomendation would be to get a CA sportline and install a TB in there, but only if you for some reason need a gun right now, and it has to be an M4. The sportline has outperformed everyone's predictions and has nice CA gears in there. And although, less accurate the the G&G stock has about the same rof and fps. Final word of advice WAIT. You should save up and get a full metal gun or TM. The TM P90 sounds like it would suit you well. | |

| he's given you two choices... he only wants to know about those two. I think hes probably gone through the paces of considering a more expensive gun and decided he didnt want one.
Now...which should you get i have no idea, having no experience with either company or AEG. I think youd be better off with the E1.
higher cap mag proved internals ( G&Gs are iffy) larger battery and personally i like G3s (aesthetically)

| I have the Echo 1 AK47 tactical. I love it and with 2 high caps and a bipod, I can do the support role and the scout role. | |

| True, there are heard of problems in the G&G such as having to use a 9.6v battery. On the other hand, the E1 G3 is supposed to be a really good E1 | |

| I would say if you have enough money to get the Plastica and you get the G3 you should look into some optics. Great site for optics is www.ebaybanned.com Shipping is free but it may take a while to get there because there Europe based not quite sure what country sorry. | |

| Are u sure that is the right link because all it says is ebaybanned.com Also, because they are the same gun (I think) do you think it would be better if I got the JG version OD. I forget who posted the pics of it but thats the one im talking about. Is it the same gun and when do you guys think ASGI should be getting it? | |

| Based on what you want out of the gun you should get the G3 because it is a large gun that is accurate you can still camp and "snipe" and lead a charge. Also, the magazine holds 500 rounds, it has a 20in. barrel, has a sturdy plastic exterior with a good amount of metal parts too, it goes 350-370 fps, and has a bi-pod so, in all this is a great woodland gun that meets your needs. | |

Internally, yes. Externally, not at all. The Black one is a G3 SG1, with a built in bipod and optional cheek rest. The OD one is a G3A3, which has no bipod or cheek rest, and is more a standard, bare bones member of the G3 family.

| I dont think the G3 Bipod is very useful, since it cannot swivel. So it mostly useless, unless you are aiming up..... | |

| Well he said he sometimes likes to lay down and camp with an accurate gun so he would probably like a bi-pod for stability. | |

It's as useful as any other factory bipod. It is just fine for aiming up, down, on slanted hills (due to the pivot in the moddle), and for aiming side to side if you lift it 1cm off the ground.

| It looks like you can just tilt your gun like turning a key ,left or right ,but it does not swivel left, right, up, or down. | |

| Its not a big deal. If you don't like the stock bipod, you can replace it. Thats the great thing about airsoft. | |
