| Booligan already said the MP5K sucks stock. The VA Mp5 can replace the spring. The gun already has a very impressive ROF pulling the big spring, but changing it will not be stock.
The G&G MP5, im not sure about the sportline but the proline is great, shoots fairly accurate, like most MP5s, but has a more than exceptional ROF

| READ THE THREAD, NOWHERE DOES IT SAY BOOLIGAN said "The TM MP5k's ROF sucks." Exactly, someone already suggested the VA MP5 and you pretty much just copy and pasted what they said now would you please refrain from posting if you have nothing helpful to say. | |

| The VA MP5 does have a great rof especially with an M120 spring. It is about the same as my E1 G36C which uses an M110. If you downgraded the spring, you probably wouldn't even need to upgrade the motor. (the motor on the VA MP5 is pretty high torque, probably nowhere near as powerful as a systema, but it is still a great motor) Only problem with MP5s is the high caps suck pelotas. The JG G36C is also great though. You could make a monster out of it if you put a 9.6 and systema motor like you said you would. (this would flipping fry the internals though, so you might want to swap pistons and gears) The accuracy is great under 100 feet, so it would be a great CQB gun. What about this gun though http://www.airsplat.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=ERM-JG-S552-082the mags don't hold much, but they clamp together. It's more compact than a G36C and feels great to hold. ROF is probably about the same as the G36C, but that doesn't matter since you would upgrade the motor anyway. | |

| perfomance includes rate of fire. If it underperfoms, then it likely has a poor rate of fire. | |

| That's an inference and considering you don't have facts on it I don't think you should be talking. And underperfroming is relative if he is comparing it to a stock FAMAS then the ROF could still be 20 rounds per second. So stop posting on a topic your not contributing anything to please. | |

| I meant underperforming as in 250 FPS. 80' max range. ROF is so-so, but its shortcomings far outweigh its positive aspects.
It's just not a good buy.
I think everyone needs to go back to their corners and cool down, lol...
Here are the facts: Out of all the ACM guns I've tested (darn near all of them, lol) the one with the highest stock ROF was the JG Thunder Maul/Ika Zuchi. I haven't seen one go faster yet on a stock battery out of the box.
If you want a high ROF gun, just get something cheap and mod it. You won't get higher than about 16 RPS on most if not all stock ACM guns anyways, so the difference comes down to personal preferance. All guns can be made to have a high ROF with a little bit of work, so just pick the gun you are most comfortable with, and can afford.
People here expect us to spoon feed them the right answer, and in 99.99% of cases, there is no right answer. The answer lies in YOU and your setup, abilities, budget, and personal taste.

| Haha, I have said that to people on aim, it's what they want. I suggest stuff to them and they buy something completely different. Thats why you don't see me posting many topics on what to buy, sure on what the rof is and the pros and cons of them. Most of the time I know what I am looking for. | |

| Prodigy, cool it.
Airsoftman, ditto.
Prodigy, you've got the opinions from all corners and they are about as complete as you're going to find.
If you don't have the skill or funds to mod or buy up then you'll have to settle for the stock ROF of 14-16 bb/sec. This is a number that you will find across the board on most MPEGs.
Make your decision based on your personal preference and deal with the stock ROF or spend the $ to mod.
Regards,
