| you can charge it whenever you want if its an NIMH battery. NOT a NICD. NICD batteries need to be discharged completely before recharging them. though im going to assume its a NIMH, right fdsakiller? | |

| Yup, for the Ni-CD battery (I believe it stands for Nickel Cadnium) has to be discharged before charging again, thats why you get a smart charger, the Ni-MH battery, does not but, if it is discharged than you will kill the battery. | |

| It means that the energy that is stored in the battery is removed from the battery. So, instead of charging a battery that has some energy already in it, you would need to discharge or remove the energy already in it before re-charging it. I hope this makes sense and is right. | |

| Basicly on Smart chargers, or some, have a button you press and it "discharges" or takes away the energy from the battery. Then you re charge it. | |

| Ok.... So are you going to get a new battery, if you do, find a battery that is about 1400 to 1600, which is pretty much the max in a mini battery | |

What, having a large battery or upgrading the internals?

| A large battery won't do anything to the internals. The only difference between a small and large battery other than the size and plug type, is storage capacity. The largest small battery only holds 1600 mah. (nunchuks can hold like 2200) The largest.....uh large battery is like 4200 mah. | |

| ^You can't rate a battery's life by hours. You may fire 2000 rounds an hour, while I only fire 100 rounds per hour. The general rule is take the mAh rating of the battery, and times it by 1.5. That will give you a decent estimate of how many shots that battery will provide.
For example: 1500mAh battery x 1.5 = about 2250 shots.

| ^It could be either. This is one 1500 mAh battery cell: If you solder 7 of them together in series, you end up with an 8.4v 1500 mAh battery, as each NiCD or NiMH cell is 1.2v. Now, if you solder 8 of those cells together, you'll have a 9.6v 1500 mAh battery. See, the mAh doesn't change, but with each additional cell, the voltage goes higher.

| The 9.6v has one more cell, like I said above... It is physically larger than an 8.4v, and may not fit in the G36C. | |
