| I would. That way, you know it'll fit, it won't cause any excess wear, and the performance should be the same, unless you get a battery with a higher amperage output. | |

| ^If you get a quality 8.4v battery, such as an intellect or elite pack, yes, the ROF should go up 2-3 RPS. | |

| Yes. If you kept track of your # of shots, you can approximate your battery use, and figure out how long to top it off for. Or just use a smart charger... | |

| But you cannot really determine "half-way charged" since a smart charger isnt digital, going 15% full or 90% full etc... | |

| ^I didn't mean use a smart charger to determine the state of charge. I meant that if you have a smart charger, you don't need to determine the state of charge, as it will top it off automatically. | |
